Owner
Emily Farley
At the start of her career, Emily worked as an EHS Specialist for Express and Platte Pipelines where she was responsible for OSHA and PHMSA compliance, emergency response preparation, and gas detection. She then opened Compliance Resources, which she has operated since 2005. During her career she has held many different roles, including developing and presenting training, implementing safety and regulatory compliance programs, and managing pipeline construction safety.
Administrative Coordinator & OQ Proctor
Kimberly Barritt
Kimberly started her pipeline career in public awareness where she managed the company Public Awareness Program, RP 1162 compliance, and contacts with stakeholders. She later moved to operations administration where her responsibilities included onboarding new employees, tracking corporate performance metrics, and managing Operations & Maintenance Manual updates. Kimberly specializes in administration of safety compliance documentation databases, OQ records management, and various consulting projects.
OQ Proctor & Evaluator
Mike Cook
Mike started his career as a contract welder building new drilling rigs and then transitioned to construction and maintenance of pipelines. He then became a company welder for Amoco/BP and was promoted to construction team leader where he planned and coordinated work in Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, and Kansas. After the sale of Amoco/BP, Mike worked as a welding and project inspector for new construction and repair projects for pipelines from Salt Lake City to Chicago.
OQ Proctor & Evaluator
Gregg James
Gregg worked for Amoco/BP for 35 years in various positions, including Control Room Operator, E&I Technician, and Corrosion Specialist. He also gained valuable experience and was exposed to pipeline operations, maintenance, and construction. Gregg then worked for Plains Pipeline and Silver Creek Midstream for 10 years as a Construction manager where he managed multiple construction and maintenance projects. Gregg previously held NACE certifications as a Coating Inspector and Corrosion Technologist.

OQ Proctor & Evaluator
Rob Vondra
Rob has 47 years of experience. He started as a mechanic for an oilfield service company where he serviced engines, compressors, and pumps, and later became the owner. After selling the company, he worked for Amoco as a mechanic and specialized in centrifugal pumps and gas compressors. Rob then transitioned to pipelines and worked on oil and gas pipelines in mechanical and operations roles, cross-training in E&I. His expertise includes rotating equipment, relief valves, block valves, flanges, tubing, and transmitters.

OQ & EHS Coordinator
Doug Thacker
Doug has 42 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He started as a transmission pipeline welder for a natural gas company where he was involved in constructing and repairing high pressure natural gas transmission pipeline facilities. He later leveraged his field experience and moved into the safety and training field where he helped design an employee training center which focused on pipeline operations and maintenance activities. After spending several years at the training center, Doug moved back into a construction role and served as a Construction Supervisor and inspector on a two-year transmission pipeline installation project on the western slope of Colorado. Upon completion of the project, he moved back into compliance and has held positions in the Safety, Environmental, OQ and DOT Compliance fields for the past 29 years, working for both crude oil and natural gas companies.
